Birthday wishes

Hi guys, I'm here today for my DT post for
with a Birthday card I have made for my next door neighbour, she loves flowers, so I have made some by hand in a lovely bright colour, adding some micro beads in bronze for the centres,
I used the gorgeous Music letters papers by lemon craft for  the background, distressing the edges and layering up the middle section with 3D foam,
I used a spellbinders die for the fancy square then layered a Scrapiniec chipboard circle frame on top, this I coloured lightly with vintage photo distress ink then I added a stamped image behind from my stash,
I then also used some more chipboard from the Far East 02 collection, again coloured the same way,

Do check out these gorgeous chipboards and all the beautiful papers and embellishments Monika has in her store,
It's my 36th Wedding Anniversary today, so catch you all later!!
Happy Crafting!!

Celebrate the Romance

Hi guys, over at the  craft heaven shop inspiration blog we have this weeks theme which is
Celebrate the Romance
Well I have made a card for my hubby for our 36th wedding Anniversary, which is on Tuesday
I used a couple of the latest gorgeous Maja design papers, so love this Vintage Romance collection!!!
I kept to this  monochrome colour way as I think it's fab for men!!
I cut out the hearts with some spellbinders die cuts and on the center I stamped a text stamp by magnolia, layered one half over the top of the other with some foam pads, then placed one of the  fabulous Melissa Frances resin banners over the top too,
The lovely Lace adds a fantastic finishing touch, along with the little key charm and flowers, as usual all links below,
have you seen that Tina has a DT call on at the moment, link in my sidebar if your interested in joining this awesome lovely team,

Dreams Of A Garden

Hi guys, I'm here today again with another project I have made as guest for Scrapiniec,
this time I felt like making a 3D project and so I have made a watering can and flowers and leaves  out of some of the  beautiful Maja design papers,

I used one of the gorgeous papers to make the watering can itself from The vintage Romance collection - to be with you,
I used the Maja Design May  Mood Board as my inspiration for the colours / theme  etc,
On the body of the watering can I added some lace then a small rosette from the
Doily Lace collection, coloured lightly with a little distress ink,on top of this I added a Doo Hickey die flower made out of  some vintage Autumn basics paper, I then made some more flowers out of some Vintage spring papers,

I used one of the gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards from the Ivy collection to trail down the main body too, this I kept in it's natural colour,

I then added a chipboard piece on the handle and spout from the Spring Prodigy wreath 1 collection, these were given the distress ink treatment too,

The Mood Board had a gorgeous quote written on it so I printed it out on my computer and added it as a embellishment on the top of the watering can,

Here is the gorgeous Maja Design Mood Board

All that she wants

Hi guys, over at
we have a Inspired by a 90's theme song,
Now I don't really listen to music so this was a little hard for me so I looked up the 90's songs on the web and this song was one All that she wants, by Ace of Base
I also have  a gorgeous Sleeping Tilda baby stamp in my stash, lol

Tilda is coloured with my distress re-inkers and I added a little glitter to the stamped image too, then some little dots made with some  liquid pearl,
The gorgeous papers I used are by Maja design still some of my favourites, from the Vintage spring and Vintage baby,
I added some of the beautiful flowers and lace available at Tina's online shop as well as the adorable heart pin on the top of the card and the so cute buttons charm, all links below

I also used this adorable Magnolia Doo Hickey die which came with one of the die magazines they
 do,
See you next week,
Happy Crafting!!

Spring has sprung

Hi guys, just popping on with a tag I made a couple of months back using some mixed media, then spring was no where in sight and I wanted to cheer myself up!! lol
I can't find my list of products used though Grr!!
I coloured the cute bird stamps with my distress markers then fussy cut them out, I layered some corrugated card stock and some cheesecloth, painted them with black gesso, then used some sprays for the background colour,

I then went over the top of these with some silks paints, love these !!
I then finished the tag off with some Dusty Attic chip boards, and some micro beads,
Well it was gorgeous again yesterday and looks like it could be today too, better then the 12 degrees it gives tomorrow!!
Any questions, Just ask,
Happy Crafting!!
