Anything goes with optional recycling at totally Tilda

Hi guys, this challenge over at Totally Tilda is the last one till after Christmas, we are back on the 5th January we have so enjoyed looking at all your beautiful creations and look forward to seeing some more next year, this time because of Christmas there will be no midweek contributions from the TT team lol,
for my recycling I've used a toilet roll and hopefully you will be able to follow a small tutorial I've made on how I did it lol,
I'm calling this cotton reel Tilda because of the things I have used
stamp of your choice,
 toilet roll,
copy paper
designer paper
embellishments
circle die,
 scalloped circle die
colouring medium
ink for stamping
glue

I used a 15.2 x 15.2 cm  piece of designer paper which I trimmed to the height of the roll 10.8cm  before starting to glue, slightly curl/ bend  the paper in your hand but  not creasing it and add a little glue on the toilet roll a little at a time carefully added the paper, overlap the edges and adhere using a good strong glue,

Next I took a piece of copy paper 15cm by 5cm and score 2cm in from one of the long edges, I did two of these, cut approximately 1cm snips to the score line on the wider edge , then stick the 2cm part into the inner roll and press firmly so it sticks,
next fold all the strips together so they fill in the hole and glue together, this will give a base for the top and bottom of the roll, I forgot to take a picture of this so I have edited one in quickly, so  hence the reason for no designer paper on the outside lol

To finish of the join I used a pearl string,

I coloured sewing Tilda with my distress re-inkers and added a swirl stamp for a little extra decoration then cut it out with my circle die, I layered this onto my scalloped circle die, this is then stcuck to the top of the toilet roll where it has the copy paper folds to stick too,

The rest of my roll was finished off with a stamp set which was free from a craft mag ages ago, these I stamped onto water colour paper and cut out, I  inked the edges with vintage photo distess ink, the flowers have perfect pearls mist on them,
To the left hand side I have used the gorgeous new Joy crafts birdcage die,

and finished the back off with a few flowers too, it was very difficult to take a good picture of this project it is straight in real life honest!!!! he he,
Front view again!
